Traditional Tyrolean Stube at the Brückenwirt Inn

A traditional wood-paneled Stube at the Brückenwirt inn in Tyrol, with board walls, built-in benches and simple wood ceilings.

Design characteristics

Tyrolean inns still use the Stube as their main dining room, and this one shows the style as it continues today: plain board paneling to the ceiling, built-in benches, sturdy tables and a warm wood finish. It is the most direct model for a ski-house dining room or a bar area in a Colorado mountain home, where the same wood-lined coziness is the goal.
