Farmhouse Stube, Hof Falkner-Schnaitter, Tyrol

The living room (Stube) of the Falkner-Schnaitter farmhouse in Tyrol, with a built-in corner bench, wood paneling and a tiled stove.

Design characteristics

This Stube shows the full Tyrolean arrangement: a corner bench built into the paneling with the table in front, a tiled stove with a bench around it, a beamed ceiling and small windows. It is warm, practical and very adaptable to a mountain cabin or a family kitchen. The built-in corner bench saves floor space and seats more people than chairs.
