Linen Closet and Storage Built-ins, Curtis Woodwork (1926)

A page from the 1926 Curtis Woodwork catalog titled 'Making the Most of Your House', showing linen closets and other storage built-ins.

Design characteristics

Houses of the 1910s and 1920s used built-in linen closets, broom closets and storage cases in halls and back entries. This Curtis page shows several examples with drawers, shelves and paneled doors. They are a practical model for a mudroom or back-hall storage wall in an older home, and they can be built to fit existing openings.
