Log Porch Railing at Grand Lake Lodge, Colorado
The porch of Grand Lake Lodge near the western entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, with a log railing framing views over Grand Lake.
Grand Lake Lodge, built in the 1920s above the town of Grand Lake, is famous for its long front porch overlooking the lake and mountains. The porch is framed with peeled-log posts and railings. It is one of Colorado's best-known examples of rustic lodge architecture. Log railings and posts are an easy way to bring the same character to a deck, stair or loft balcony in a mountain home.
Peeled-log or timber railings and posts for stairs, lofts and decks; Essential tier.
A custom version typically runs $7–$14 per linear foot, shipped.
