Guest Room in the Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone

A guest room in the Old Faithful Inn's original log section, with exposed log walls, a wooden bed and a simple washstand.

The original rooms of the Old Faithful Inn have exposed log walls and ceilings, with simple furniture and minimal trim. The effect is warm and honest, the wood itself providing all the decoration. For a mountain bedroom, log-profile or wide-board wall paneling recreates the feeling without building a log structure, and pairs well with simple built-in furniture.
